Vintage West: an exhibition of contemporary prints and artist books by local artists inspired by the history, characters and landscape of the old west.
I have some pieces in this show, which opens Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, 5-8pm. My work for this show is all Intaglio Prints: hand-pulled prints made from etched plates, inked and printed on fine art paper at Atelier 6000 (A6), Bend, Oregon.
Atelier 6000 is a printmaking and bookarts studio & gallery, located at 389 SW Scalehouse Ct. in Bend, Oregon (off SW Wilson near the Old Mill District). The Anvil Blasters will be playing for the opening!
The show runs through November.
Lynn’s pieces in this exhibition:
Once We Moved Like the Wind Lynn created a broadside from a song by Jim Cornelius (fellow Anvil Blasters bandmate, see his blog Frontier Partisans) and her own imagery.
Hell Bent SASS shooter “Bronco Peeler” Rick Laumann looks like he’s straight out of another era.
Warrior Intent Marial artist Masaru Tobizuka of Japan, astride Yoshi a Morgan stallion belonging to Pat Stoddard of the USA, calmly awaits his run at the Horseback Archery Challenge in Redmond, Oregon, October, 2010.
Music is Blood Memory Music runs in families, yes, and perhaps music runs in families who play music all their lives.

Thank you! And we look forward to seeing you there! The art will be right up your alley, Diane!
